Poorly Drawn Pets Fundraiser

Your favorite fundraiser is back – it’s Poorly Drawn Pets! 

Here’s how it works: Starting on March 24 – 26 you Donate $25 to support the animals at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County on our Facebook post that will go live at 8 am on March 24th, and in return, we’ll create a custom portrait of your pet! The only catch? While we excel at caring for animals, our artistic skills… well, let’s just say they’re a mixed bag.

Our team of staff and volunteers is ready to turn your pet into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece—whether that means a surprisingly impressive sketch or something that looks like it was drawn with our eyes closed. Either way, we promise you’ll get a good laugh!

How to participate:

1. Click the Donate button on the Facebook post and contribute $25 per pet photo.
2. Once you’ve donated, comment below with your pet’s picture.
3. One of our “talented” artists will get to work and reply with your custom drawing as soon as possible! Volunteer’s will begin drawing submissions starting on Wednesday, March 26th.
4. Drawings will be posted on Facebook under your photo when completed.  They may not go in order so be patient, we will not forget you.
5. April 2nd all your drawing’s will be available to be picked up at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County front desk.

How to participate offline: 

1. Drop a photo off of your pet,  $25 and your name starting the week before the event when we are open at the shelter front desk. The first day we will start collecting is on Wednesday, March 19, 2025
2. One of our “talented” artists will get to work and reply with your custom drawing as soon as possible! Volunteer’s will begin drawing submissions starting on Wednesday, March 26th.
3. Drawings will be posted on Facebook under your photo when completed.  They may not go in order so be patient, we will not forget you.
4. April 2nd all your drawing’s will be available to be picked up at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County front desk.

There’s no limit to how many drawings you can request—the more you donate, the more animals we can help! And if you feel like giving extra, we’d be beyond grateful for your generosity.

Heads up! This fundraiser is always wildly popular, and we usually have to close submissions within 24-48 hours due to high demand. If you want to join in the fun, don’t wait—get those pet photos in now!
