Adoption Process

The Humane Society of Sheboygan County – Carol Hollfelder Animal Shelter is here to assist in the adoption process however we can. Adoption is an exciting time for everyone and there are so many amazing animals in our community to choose from.
Visit the shelter to find a pet to adopt.
Complete an adoption application in several ways.
– Submit application in-person at the Humane Society
– Submit application via email: [email protected]
– Submit application by mail
– Submit application by fax: 920-208-2204
HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, and only then, the animal’s name can be put on an application. The animal that is applied for must be adopted within 24 hours of the approved application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
