SUMMARY:Poorly Drawn Pets Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Your favorite fundraiser is back – it’s Poorly Drawn Pets!  \nHere’s how it works: Starting on March 24 – 26 you Donate $25 to support the animals at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County on our Facebook post that will go live on March 24th\, and in return\, we’ll create a custom portrait of your pet! The only catch? While we excel at caring for animals\, our artistic skills… well\, let’s just say they’re a mixed bag. \nOur team of staff and volunteers is ready to turn your pet into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece—whether that means a surprisingly impressive sketch or something that looks like it was drawn with our eyes closed. Either way\, we promise you’ll get a good laugh! \nHow to participate: \n\nClick the Donate button on the Facebook post and contribute $25 per pet photo at https://www.facebook.com/SCAdopt/posts/1107602598076691\nOnce you’ve donated\, comment below with your pet’s picture.\nOne of our “talented” artists will get to work and reply with your custom drawing as soon as possible! Volunteer’s will begin drawing submissions starting on Wednesday\, March 26th.\nDrawings will be posted on Facebook under your photo when completed.  They may not go in order so be patient\, we will not forget you.\nApril 2nd all your drawing’s will be available to be picked up at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County front desk.\n\nHow to participate offline:  \n\nDrop a photo off of your pet\,  $25 and your name starting the week before the event when we are open at the shelter front desk. The first day we will start collecting is on Wednesday\, March 19\, 2025\nOne of our “talented” artists will get to work and reply with your custom drawing as soon as possible! Volunteer’s will begin drawing submissions starting on Wednesday\, March 26th.\nDrawings will be posted on Facebook under your photo when completed.  They may not go in order so be patient\, we will not forget you.\nApril 2nd all your drawing’s will be available to be picked up at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County front desk.\n\nThere’s no limit to how many drawings you can request—the more you donate\, the more animals we can help! SUMMARY:Kids & Critters: Grades 2 & 3
DESCRIPTION:Join us for two full days at the Humane Society and see what it really takes to keep the shelter running smoothly (hint-it’s more than just walking dogs and cuddling cats)! Campers will have an opportunity to assist with some of the daily tasks that allow us to make a difference in the lives of animals in our community. \nWith a behind-the-scenes tour\, team challenges\, and visits from animal guests\, campers will leave with a deeper sense of how to be an animal advocate! They will also work as a group to complete a service project that improves the shelter’s operations and the animals’ quality of life. This helps campers understand how small acts of kindness can create lasting positive change. \nYour registration covers both days. At this time\, we are unable to offer one-day programs. \nDetails: \nDates: March 25-26: Grades 2 & 3\nTime: 8:30-4:00 each day\nCost: $95 \nThere are two parts to registration: submitting the program fee and completing the registration form.
