Staff Member Spotlight – August

Devin, a college student at Carroll University couldn’t be more in her element here at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County. During the academic year, Devin studies animal behavior. She enjoys her job here at the shelter because it allows her to put her knowledge to the test as an animal caregiver. Her customer service skills come into play as an office assistant where she answers questions, and helps families find new, furry family members.

At home, Devin has a brother, and two cats named Ranger and Fluffs. She enjoys spending time taking pictures with her camera, writing, hanging out with her friends, and traveling. Specifically, Devin has spent three weeks in Botswana, Africa and intends to return for a study abroad program lasting an entire semester.

For the future of the Humane Society, Devin hopes to see the new shelter aid in reaching more animals, and helping them find loving homes. She hopes to see the shelter grow in size and ability, but shrink in number of animals.

From the staff and volunteers here at the shelter,

Safe travels, and thank you for being part of the team!
